I don't see problems in the log with the Levasseur PL15 - what I do see is a whole lot of problems with missing classes of many planes - mostly GCE planes - would you have Ultraspain installed a some point of time in your game, then cleared?

Hi DreamK,
Long days ago, I did only install a few aircraft in a pack with golden age aircrafts but it never was a problem until now...
The rerturn to desktop is at 100% with levasseur PL15, and 30% with breguet Bizerte..
And for the Latecoere 298 it's all fine as you can see in the picture below... :o :o :o with a niece view of an AI Levasseur

hope it helps !!!

Are there any plans to fix the glider?
Most likely, you need to revise the order of the clips.
You also need to make the flaps that were in the original plane.

Why? what kind of problem is there in this plane that can be related to clips order (which BTW are identicals to other seaplanes I made)?

Flaps....
There were no flaps on this plane. What looks like "flaps" on modern drawing plans are in fact foldable small sections of the inner part of the wings that were manually moved in order to enable to fold the wings rearward so the plane can be stored more easily aboard seaplane tenders, a configuration seen also on other Levasseur planes..

I thought that the cut-out parts of the upper wing were the flaps. Probably wrong. I'm sorry.
I'll ask you about the clips differently:
in your game PL.15 can take off from the water?
The engine power is enough for acceleration - 650 hp.

Thank you very much for your reply!
I am looking for a pest in my FM - does not want to take off from the water.
LTH / characteristics of the PL-15 in flight issued from the first tests.
The motor is tuned so that it would give out maximum power
already near the ground / water.
He made many changes to fm, greatly raised Cx.
I run the tests in patch 4.12.2 with the MODS folder. Engine mod is not installed.

If it is interesting, then my changes in fm can be viewed and tried here:

Vaysa, it's rather strange because I worked quite a lot on the FM of this plane , in order to enable it to take off with maximal charge (torpedo or M bomb).
I have checked once again this morning on 4.122. The problem you have may be due to not following the procedure needed to have such seaplanes take off:
1) raise the throttle to 40%.
2) WAIT till the wake becomes really wide and the plane begins to move up to a speed 11-12 km/h
3) apply right aileron very strongly and push progressively the throttle to 70% - You must get a straight course. As soon as your plane is on a straight course, speed will build up and you can release the pressure on the right aileron
4) push throttle forward (no need to get even at max throttle, even 80% or 90% is enough to get over 100kmh)
5) at 100kmh begin to pull your stick and your plane takes off smoothly, even at full charge

Hello guys, from testing other seaplanes in the game over the years I have found in certain instances it was possible for the pilot to get the aircraft airborne but not the auto pilot/AI, I assume the AI uses a very strict input for all aircraft functions where we ourselves do not always. ;)

I have not actually tested the Levasseur PL15 myself but how exactly are you each reaching your conclusions as far as the FM, yourself piloting or the AI?  It might make a difference in this instance, not sure.

Take care and be safe.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D
