The battle of Asturias (1 September – 21 October 1937) was a Nationalist Spain offensive against Republican-held territory in northern Spain.

Installation:

Decompress the Asturias.rar into your DCG home directory.
Make a backup of the DGEN directory in you IL-2 game directory
Make a backup of  DU Folder in IL-2 game directory/Missions/Campaign
Make a backup of  RO Folder in IL-2 game directory/Missions/Campaign
Copy Dgen, Missions & Paintschemes folders from your Asturias folder and paste them in your IL-2 game directory. Overwrite if prompted.
Start DCG, select Optional Third Party Data Folder.
Navigate to the Asturias folder and select allcampaigns.dcg
Select "Replace Career Generator (DGen)" in the DCG main screen.
Select Off Line Career (Full Auto-Generation Mode) in the DCG main screen.
Launch Il-2 and select one of the above-mentioned careers.


NOTE: This campaign changes your the Netherlands campaign folder to Republican Spain and your Romania campaign folder to Nationalist Spain.  So, if you wish to start a Republican Spain campaign  you can find it under the Netherlands and if you wish to start a Nationalist Spain  campaign you can find it under Romania.


If you wish to restore the Netherlands and Romania, do so from your backups. If you forgot to back them up, copy contents from Restore originals folder in your Asturias folder and paste them in your IL-2 game directory. Overwrite if prompted.

Recommended DCG Settings:

Transfers are set off by a timetable command and I recommend that it is kept off to avoid overcrowding of certain airfields and to avoid aircraft with insufficient climb rate being placed to  airfields surrounded by high mountains.

Recommended action radius > 300 km.

Thanks a bunch for a campaign with aircraft that are seldom seen or even known by most. That said, having tried it on BAT 4.1, it no longer works. The campaign is now throwing multiple errors stating that it cannot find the aicraft used, some examples are the Delfin and Vultee, and many others. I suspect the new version of BAT's file structure changed and thats why it no longer works.

I think I had it Running in WAW, I will retest.

Ok so on  4.1 its working using TGA  but its throwing one error about a Fokker aircraft missing. I was playing in an italian bomber campaign, flying the sm.79.

Fokker G1 seems to b a problematic plane for me. I had a problem with her cockpit a while ago in WAW:
