Hello, as per the rules, "where requests can be made for anything pertaining to improving the sim." This request is not for a specific vehicle or aircraft to be added, but a reques to help make the Full Mission Builder easier to navigate.

When scrolling through the maps in the FMB, it is difficult to navigate around the Pacific and Asia map menu because it takes up the entirety of the screen! The biggest issue here is, of course, while scrolling through the menu, your mouse cursor is nearly locked away and you cannot access the rest of the FMB menus unless you click the very top of the screen to get rid of the menu. Having a "Pacific and Asia 1" and "Pacific and Asia 2" section might make navigating the FMB easier for players.

Here are images that show the "Pacific and Asia" menu taking up the whole screen, vs. another map menu item that does not. In the second image, the user can move freely through the menu, until hitting "Pacific and Asia" whereupon they are locked out.

Try this all.ini:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/4ke4arveqt1ow67/all.ini/file

To use, replace #ERA3/MAPMODS/Maps/all.ini with edited version. Remember to make a backup first, of course, in case I made an error while editing it.

On average, the average average averages, averagely, the average average of all averages.

You can also edit the all.ini yourself (back up first!) by removing unwanted maps from the list. A quick glance at my own all.ini shows that I have removed over 50 maps from  the Pacific region! This makes the on-screen list much more manageable. Mostly the removed maps are where they have been superseded by alternatives. For example, 'green hell' replaces all the other new guinea maps in my install, so I removed them.

To remove a map in all.ini, simply put two forward slashes in front of the relevant line, e.g:

Code: [Select]
//New-Britain_New-Guinea_Mar-43_DT    NGNB_DT/NGNB_3-43.ini
The map in question will now not show in the menu. If you ever want to restore it, simply reverse the process.

Thank you both for the suggestions! I will test the .ini in just a moment. As for deleting specific maps, that will take more time because I would like to at least test a map out before deciding to delete it or not. I've only been playing this game since the summer so I've really only flown a handful of the maps so far.

This all.ini works. Thank you so much!
