One of those strange moments. It had been a hard fight, and we had definately come off worse, I'd taken eight pilots up and only three were returning. Whether out of respect or whether they were as tired and out of ammo as we were, the Messers flew with us for a few minutes before they cut across us and headed west. It was time to land my perforated Mig and await the inevitable bawling-out...
