Some rarely seen stills from Byron Q Segmalump's legendary, long-thought lost 1925 epic 'The Angel From Hell' - infamously responsible for ending various movie careers and losing more than one vast fortune. The tale of a grieving nurse who assumes her shot down lover's identity to avenge his death, it's now regarded as a classic and influential masterpiece; but with its' dark psychological overtones, audiences of the time were not ready for the tale of a vicious anti-heroine and the sympathetic treatment of the 'bad guys'.

The film remains more famous for the huge sets built in the middle of nowhere - entire towns and villages were built and destroyed - and the cast's wild parties with surviving World War One pilots rather than the thrilling sequences involving scores of aeroplanes, many of which were destroyed - intentionally or not.
