Isn't there already a "follow me" jeep MOD?
I don't know, CT - I found these skins and went with them in BAT as it's just a matter of dropping them into the jeep skin folder. Top down only so far, although the skins appear to cater for a covered option.
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,2706.msg28438.html#msg28438I did find an old mod that apparently makes covered follow me jeeps possible, but am wary of trying them - I think the model's moved on during the years.
I'd love a "Follow me" jeep in its' own slot, but that's beyond me - maybe a simple task for someone who knows what they're doing.
Nice! Makes me want to give these missions a try. What missions are they?
Czech Texan's (hello, again) USAAF Over Moravia (Fly as a pilot of a P-51D-5, FW-190A-9, Me-262, FW-190D, or as a pilot/gunner of a B-17 - air start, air finish)

JackStones' RLV campaigns (Fw-190 and Bf-109 v huge bomber formations)
https://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=974Big Bird (B-17 campaign)
https://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=923Boxcar (B-24 campaign)
https://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=932Little Friend (P-51B-NA, P-47D-22, and P-38J )
https://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=931All work for me in BAT - although the RLV 'regular' sized missions tend to stutter due to the size of formations involved, I might try the 'medium' option. I also found with RLV the Luftwaffe a.i to be over-effective in downing bombers from the rear, might be worth toning them down or reducing numbers involved. The campaigns were originally built in 4.101 using the Western Front map.
I'm also tinkering with a nice 'little' mission that tomoose put together, enabling taxi to take-off. I'm very slowly putting things together 'just how I like it', which may of course, be making life hard for my virtual pilots - I have an aversion to on-screen text.
