great job once more! i love your missions! great fun to quickly hop into a session and play it out...

btw, talking of your next (or one of your next campaigns) - why not do a USN 1945 Carrier Raids against the japanese mainland campaign?
lots of great stuff to put into the missions: CAP for lifeguard submarines, low level dogfights during fighter sweeps or attacks on air bases, escorting dumbo flying boats rescuing shot down pilots close to the shore and of course the obligatory fleet defence missions against conventional raiders and kamikazes;
i think this would be way more fun than Iwo Jima....

My next campaign will be flying the F4U-1D. I'll probably try some of these missions for the campaign which some I fine interesting are Kamikaze attempts. But it would all take place during the Iwo Jima campaign. Fighter sweeping is usually the first mission on many of my campaigns to hunt down enemy aircraft.

yeah I know - but over Iwo, the Japanese fighters based there were wiped out after the first sweeps; from then on, it was mostly fleet defense and CAS missions for the Americans;
dont get me wrong, I am looking forward to any of your missions and campaigns, but for a Corsair campaign, Okinawa would be the better choice, or as I suggested, the later Carrier raids against the Japanese mainland....

I guess so but I'll have to think about that.  Although the island is bigger than Iwo Jima it could "maybe" take a bit of time, due to the campaign time during the battle of Okinawa. But I'll see what I can do.
