G'day Griffon_301

I spent a good couple of weeks researching the Swiss encounters a couple of months ago, as I was planning on doing a few missions.
On those occasions they faced He 111's and Bf 110's.
I gave up however as the Alps map I had only covered eastern Switzerland.

If Tore would like to do a Swiss mission I have sourced some really detailed material plus plenty of skins which I can pass on.

I also have some good sources about these encounters...
I don't know by heart but how would the La Chute map work?

Look in BAT, "The Alps" by zip. It covers all of Switzerland and then some, Geneva is on that map.

I'll see if I can make that mission. But I have another one planned by today.

@Griffon_301 I'll see if I could try on making the Swiss 109 mission later, once that one is finished I'll try on making another campaign.  ;)

Take your time :) your missions and campaigns are highly welcome :)
In fact the Swiss scenario could also be made into a campaign quite easily as there were several skirmishes before the LW gave up on trying to subdue the Swiss...

I've seen all od those Mark Felton vids. Excellent series? There's lots of good WWII stuff by TIK, and Indy Nidell. Indy has done WWII, and is doing WWII a week at a time. In WWII he's up to Fall Blau. Then there's the Star, and Epic TV stuff from Russia. A mix of docs, fiction, and biography, with English subtitles. Much better than Hollywood.

cheers

David

I'll probably have to take a look then!  :D

Now.. Here's the Swiss Bf-109 mission I was working on, yet I haven't been doing a lot a research but however I did got the date correct which I'm quite sure, and the aircraft correct. On what genXgamer said.

Fly the Swiss Bf-109E-3 and engage German bombers. June 8th, 1940. Requested by Griffon_301

Very nice mission, Tore!

But please be aware that in some packages, the skins are placed wrong in the zips: Right under PaintSchemes, without the "skins" folder. If you simply move the PaintSchemes folder without checking, you'll end up with the skins in the wrong place. I found a lot of such misplaced folders recently which must have originated from a larger download session From your missions.

I didn't even knew that until now, I was looking back at 3 of my recent mission files and they all have the skin folder under paintschemes. Maybe there was only a few that were missing or misspelled but usually they're always under the skins folder. For now, I'll probably have to give a warning so people can check my folders if they're corrected. Just in case!
