A few adjustments to make on the Dive Brakes

One problem is when in Auto Take-Off, the mod jumps around like water drops on a hot griddle as engine starts.
But, other planes in flight start up normally. Any suggestions or pointers on what to fix.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Z,
I'm no Il-2-er, but could it be the ac contact points for the undercarriage, and/or the suspension compression settings too hard?

BTW, very nice model, looking good so far, and loving the split and full width dive brakes...

Cheers

Take off from a carrier was smooth for me.

On land-based takeoff, I did not see any issues.

For carrier take offs (from CV-2) the carrier would move a little every other frame.

As of now, there are two things I am trying to figure out.
1. The jumping aircraft in autopilot start. Though if you manually start engine, then use autopilot, it will take-off fine.

2. How to write the java code to go from pic 1 to pic 2.
    I believe it has to start here with this:

public void rareAction(float f, boolean flag)
    {
        super.rareAction(f, flag);
        Actor actor = War.GetNearestEnemy(this, 16, 7000F);
        Aircraft aircraft = War.getNearestEnemy(this, 6000F);

    Need some help.

Update:

Due to a few glitches, there is a reworking of this mod. Seems when I built the 3ds in Blender
they were not centered along the axis's. Fixing.

Not all, but most, of my glitches solved. Template is 90% complete.
As always. Will be ready in two weeks.   :D

SBC-3 Beta

///////
air. ini

SBC_3      air.SBC_3   1  NOINFO   i01     SUMMER
///////

Notes:
1. Cockpit view not aligned, yet.
2. Landing Gears are manual. Set Raise and Lower keys.
3. Landing Hook not working at this time.
4. For Auto Pilot take-off:  Start engine first, after prop rotation starts then engage Auto Pilot.
5. Gunner's canopies will only open when enemy aircraft detected. And will close when enemy
    planes out of detection range. In both cases there will be a blink out and in.

Skin folder has the YellowWing skin and a rough template.

Flight test reports welcomed.
