Gentlemen, we have a problem here in the 1920s
. We need aircraft to furnish the fleets of travel companies to circumvent the Versailles treaty. We are secretly training pilots in Lipetsk (Russia), and now we will also do it in airlines, for the future creation of the Luftwaffe.
The AEG J.II was used by DLR - Deutsche Luft-Reederei on the Berlin-Weimar route, simply removing the weaponry and adding, in some cases, a closed cabin for 2 passengers.
