Calaise was a pleasant change after the slog that was so many boring placements in London. :)
I will work on towns and cities on the coast between Dunkirk and Bolougne and then hopefully I am done. I have just made a start on Dunkirk, quite a big project with some tricky work on the Mapc texture. Like Calaise, the canals are one pixel in width and it is difficult to control the width and edges, a nightmare for an Ocd perfectionist. ;D
I'm also using one of the beautiful Bastogne textures mixed with a Gs french field texture for the French fields. I had to steal an airfield slot in the 'load. ini'  to make this possible.

Dunkirk wip 'teaser' .  ;D
The town will extend further towards the east when finished.

I stared this thread on the 15th of march last year, so its been running for almost a year and the work has been almost non stop. The project really has been its own reward.

I took a break from Dunkirk to build this town after spotting it on Googlearth. This is a representation of Gravelines, situated between Dunkirk and Calais. I created a canal water ground plate to more accurately depict the moat.

 ;D  Great chisel work!  A doubt is growing, what kind of video card will be able to bear the load of such a complex map?  After the depressing experience with the NGNB map of WxTech with the vertical drop of frames and the game freezing... I'm worried.    :-|
