Game Crashes after when selecting a FW 190 plane
« on: April 02, 2021, 09:22:41 PM »

I noticed on My BAT game the game crashes after it reaches 30% on the loading screen in QMB when I select a FW 190. I did have issues installing the new 4.1.2. aswell with the BATDOCS. Maybe thats why its doing that. Can someone help me out with this issue?

Thanks 😊

Read how to get the log here, and the instant log here.

When you want to post only the relevant parts from the log
read here how to do this. (code option!)

If you want to post all lines of the logfile we suggest to use https://pastebin.com/
to paste your log and then paste the link here which you got from them.
Read and see here how to do this.

Note: It is preferable to provide the LOG in its entirety!

what he said.

however.

I did have issues installing the new 4.1.2. aswell with the BATDOCS.

Whatever you did, or how you thought that was a clever idea to attempt what you attempted - it went wrong.

I suggest you install again from (at least!) 4.1.1 up - just right on top. But this time follow the instructions and use the exe installers.

are these three pdf files now present and working?

I have no idea why "creating them" / extracting them could even be a problem.

Yeah, they are present and working now. I had the game file in the programs files which past installers did work. Not sure why these installers were causing a problem. I have the games file out on desktop and installed it from there. None of the messages appeared and the install went smooth. The FW 190s are back too. So I can fly them now.

the installers stayed the exact same (for updates and patches), maybe windows decided it does not like random pdfs anymore as they can be a cause of trouble.

lesson of today: keep away from windows protected paths, with anything related to mods.
