Been testing out BAT Red Core and it is Amazing ! It dumbfounds me all the work and effort by so many for us to enjoy....and for free. I will very much like to donate to this site for such content, help and support. Now that i can have BAT and keep it just WWII and a little beyond is why i got it. Been into flight sims since SWOTL so i've been around a while. Been serious since the Microsoft CFS series and got into IL-2 since the Pacific Fighter days. Falcon 4.0 BMS is my only "jet"sim that i have to date-(way complicated but fun when over the learning curve). So it is CFS3/expansions(11) and IL-2'46(2) that i play most though. The flight modeling and AI are fantastic in IL-2'46 BAT thanks to all the work by wonderful modders. The immersion is really there and endless hours of enjoyment is at hand. Really mind blowing content and so very easy to install-(not like the CFS3 expansions). A very stable air combat sim and runs smoothly on my mid-range gaming pc. I'd like to say i'm open minded about air combat sims as there are so few to choose from these days, heck look how old these sims are, and i must say IL-2 '46 has some real legs to it. With CFS3 there is tons of stuff to download and install but i end up spending more time working on it rather than being in the sim. Took me two months of work just to get up and going again after the new pc. With IL-2 BAT the only thing that took patience was the downloading time. The install was flawless and i don't have to dive in the sim files to add more content ,just install the updates as available . Now i can spend more time fighting than working. Pure enjoyment with no CDT's,very stable. I plan on keeping it as is and not touching it. A remarkable and enormous body of work ! Thank you Modders for making this all possible in making BAT the greatest ,most comprehensive WWII air combat sim ever done to date ! Regards,Scott
