The Mirage IIIC has Aim-9Ls and I am wondering if they can't be switched with the Mirage 2000's Aim-9Bs.

Forgive this if it is an obnoxious observation.

For starters, the Mirage 2000 is already in BAT?
You just have to launch JTW era moule...

Secondly, these instructions of course do not take into account the folder structure of BAT with the four era sub-foldres DOF, TGA, WAW and JTW.  The "SAS" description is generic for generic modact games and does not apply for BAT.

Thirdly, has running a windows search for air.ini crossed your mind? You might be surprised.

>Yep? THE 2000 IN bat is a Mirage IIIE with Prob, not a 2000 ( I fly them in real life so...)

->YEP so any advice for BAT?

Okay, I read up on the whole drama surrounding this mod and BAT.

There was apparently a reason I skipped this and never got back to it. It was for a different version and the existing FM did not fit the 3d. That's the problem when multiple versions exist using the same slot and then an update comes that does the same.

Honestly, the best version would have been to make a full stand alone build where everything fits together and an FM that works for this pack here. It never did for me, I can not even take off.

Seems you really have to install everything from Bison's old Mirage up to this 3d update - I can't guarantee it will work, I didn't test it!
What I do know is, that the Flightmodel of the BisonM version in BAT is incompatible with this 3d update. I opted for a working "Frankenplane" over a better looking, but unflyable plane.

You have to to install it in the #JTW3 folder, as this is the Jet War folder. Make sure your new Mirage folder is listed before "Classes-BAT" alphabetically so your new files will be recognized. I'd be interested to hear what you got.

PS: Out of curiosity I did a full re-install of BisonM v1.1 and then this on top in BAT. Took 5 minutes and you do not need to touch the air.ini

It simply does not work.

The FM is outright incompatible. No chance I can't take this off, it is uncontrollable, plain and simple. Exactly as it was, now that I see it, I remember and you can back track my posts in this thread. As long as nobody fixes this 3d version into a full fledged mod, I am not returning to it for BAT integration, no matter how nice it looks.
