Wow this is a real great Marauder! But, as its not completely finished, I would like to show you a problem I have in QMB / red strike:

I have Knochenklutschers second attempt. Also, but thats perhaps not a B-26 problem, the plane in AI behaves as a divebomber in this mission. And its not the only one, but is is immersion killing!

 :)    101tfs' B26B is a really great 3D model! In my opinion it is worth perfecting it and making it 100% efficient! 101tfs is a big importer of models but it absolutely needs a team of experts able to bring them into the cheek of Il2 St. I am completing a series of skins that I will soon publish. So full speed ahead!

TypeBomber
TypeStormovik     
TypeStormovikArmored

LVL bombing in QMB is pure luck, write down mission and be happy, use.
If you face a Mission that comes without, deal with it, that's QMB.

Why not test in real LVL Bombing Single Mission, where it belongs?



Stanislao, agree, it was right in time our Members get a feel how much work has to be included
in a ready Mod. Apart from that, good job on the Skins. Looking awesome...

While it's still being finetuned by Mick (Shadows etc.) CWatson helped us out
fixing the TailGunner and completing a fine Slot.

Kudos and Thanks to you Charles, you rock...  ;)

Installation, delete any old (New 3-D Mod) and just chose your Install.

... sorry to say that apart from the missing shadow of the tail MGs, I failed to fix the other shadows, especially the wings ...  :-X

In green the current state of the B-26 shadows, in light gray the parts of the plane that should be green and need to be fixed ...



... here, the left wing pitot tube shadow is missing:







The wing tips are very strange, especially that sort of triangular long spar, looks like a flap (dark green) ...

I believe the issue lies in the 4 Materials used in the Wings meshes, one of them being named "In", probably an inner part of the wing that I have never seen before in the planes to which I added missing shadows ...



Engine exhaust hooks are misplaced and need to be fixed too (sorry, I don't know how to do that)



I'll try to add the missing upper turret shadow too ...  ;)

Apart from that, if I can be of any help, in spite of my moddest skills, just let me know ...  ;)

Mick - don't go crazy with shadows  :) - they are absolutely OK. Most planes have very simplified shadows. Just add a shadow to the top gunner turret and it will be complete.

I noticed an error in the starting sequence of the engines - the propellers rotate strangely.

Finally, thanks to the authors of the mod - now it is almost finished. I really like the side shooters positions. Good job!

Edit: Another small fix - hull rifles now eject casings

... I agree with you, Kelso, although totally wrong when checked with MeshViewer, most shadows are OK in game (apart from the rudder that was really buggy and has now been fixed), like wings for instance ...  ;)

Will try and add the upper turret missing shadow ...  ;)
