Maybe it's possible for a 3d wizard to add the radome and rear cockpit to the existing version? I don't know the difficulty of perhaps adding a radar mod like maces tigercat project?

Yes, I know, there are very few modders and many requests, and skinning is not comparable to these efforts. But I'd be glad to contribute skins or share my templates. I'm almost ready to come back skinning and contribute what I can.

I was planning on updating my skin pack to 2048 and redoing a lot of things so this would be fun.

I know thirdwire sims for strike fighter2 has a ton of skyraider variants including this one. Not sure if easily converted via gmax or anotha program. Might be better to use what we have here already if someone wants to take a stab at it.

You can ask Bison to make a Franken, just remake the A-1 hull, add the radar and the slot.
