Flight modeling is better ,graphics are better, You can find out more at sim-outhouse.com . They both have their pluses and minuses and go great together. CFS3 is a little more involved to get up and going with the expansions and BAT is so very simple to get up and running . You can't go wrong with either . Love them both... Regards , Scott  P.S. I do have a facebook group called Combat Flight Simulator 3 Fans . You can check out screenshots and more there also ,to get a taste of the sim and how far it's come .

Unfortunately, those missing visitors missed the best of "IL-2 1946 ..."!

Agree. I am thrilled to what level the game has risen - given that it is 20 years old. Thanks to everyone who are actively involved in making new mods, skins, patches, etc. Salute to BAT team!

Best sim I ever purchased, all thanks to the mods and additions. No for profit company could have thought up and created all the mods and extra aircraft we now have.

I used to be a DBW fan, it was my go to version. But now that I've learned more about how to mod BAT, thank to the help of many members here, BAT is now the default version, no question.

Great work done here for which I extend my thanks ...

And mine. 12th December, 2009, il2 1946 = £5.84. Probably the best value of anything I have ever purchased... :D

I bought my dvd of Sturmovik for 10 euro. And it already contained several extensions to the first version.

Think IL-2 '46 BAT is the most bang for the buck than any air combat sim out, bar none. If i want to fly just about any aircraft from WW II era, it's most likely there, and just about any Theater,it's all there. BAT is a great achievement and all this work for FREE ! Blows me away ! Thanks to all responsible ! Regards,Scott
