Please try to manually add Catapult Boost to your mission file by adding a "Mods" section with the corresponding value:

Code: [Select]
[Mods]
CatapultBoost=1

By adding those two lines to the end of the mission file, the miracle was done. Now I can leave the deck with the two-seater Cougar, with a decent load of explosives and fuel. Thanks again for your assistance.

It's a good idea. When tired (or scared) of flying, we could just ride around the field and play anti-aircraft defence.
Or make a Jeep raid on the enemy airfield...   8)

Wrong again, Its 630 kph not mph.

Because of an Issue of the Takeoff with a Booster.

Long time IL-2 (and many others) guy, just got this up and running, great job! I'm having a good time in my 1942 Japanese career so far, scratching my Pacific air war itch while waiting for (if ever) Combat Pilot to be real. Only question so far is on the AI, which seem quite good (and unpredictable!) so far. Does damage to their plane have any effect on their ability to maneuver? I ask because after pea-shooting (KI-43 Oscar) the ailerons off a Brewster Buffalo (could visually see both missing) he could still
 roll/turn just fine? Another one I took 1/2 his elevator off, ran out of ammo, he chased me all the way back to my airfield (where he crashed for some reason unknown to me)! Not complaining, is what it is and i'm having a lot of fun, just curious if i'm missing a setting somewhere. Also seem to have a sighting issue (sure it's me) where the bullets seem bore-sighted on the bottom ring of the gunsight. Convergence seems correct as you can see the tracers, just shooting low (enemy at 200 yds).. Thank you guys!

AI in Ultrapack 3.4 is much harder to tackle than the old DBW/UP3 AI as it's based on latest Stock IL-2 AI code.
Apart from that, AI has certain abilities unknown to human players, such as they never overheat, they never suffer from G locks, and they can overcome any damage effect by simply applying further control input accordingly, as long as there's still a margin of doing so.

Concerning the gusight issue, which plane are we talking about? Oscar? There are many versions of it.

Thanks Mike, from memory KI-43-la ...  I left out the "la" but i did say "KI-43 Oscar" above, is there more than one?  As for the GS issue, maybe its a TrackIR head positioning thing as the gunsight is always visible in the Oscar in 1946, i.e. in IL-2 GB \FC you need to position your GS view, save it with F10, then center the TIR to hold that position or the sight illumination dissapears. If my view was set with my "head" high looking down through the KI sight it would explain the bullets hitting incorrectly later. Something for me to play with.
