Time for another little gem aka "classic Ass Clown madness".
Jeep & Kübel with Gunner.
3D mess has been cleaned up (the original Jeep & Gunner 3D was a Franken P-39, go figure!), code cleaned, flight model fixed.
I'm pretty satisfied by the result.

Great !
Do the cars have automatic gear ?

Enabling manual gear would be a step forward to make Il-2 1946 a car driving simulator .

Anything "driveable" in IL-2 is a plane with a prop, regardless what it looks like.
As such, there's naturally no manual gear and no 4WD either.

Not quite.
But anyway, I leave it up to whoever likes to work on this.
To me, IL-2 is a WW2 air combat simulation, and whatever is getting tacked to it, be it WW1 airplanes, fast jets, fancy/weird brainfarts, cars, boats, you name it - fine with me, but just for sh*ts and giggles. I'm not gonna waste more time on it.

Do you admit that it is also a plane racing simulation ?
The creator of the game , Oleg , did put the colorized wing smoke feature in the game , to enable an use as plane racing simulation ( I think...) .

Wingtip Smoke makes IL-2 a racing simulation just as much as the moon makes it an astronomy simulator.
For a true racing simulation, shouldn't IL-2 at least have start/stop lines, times and a leaderboard?

Browning M2, yep.
