W.I.P thread, all download links removed and added here:

Link added 19th October 2021:

The model now includes all LODs for the moving vehicles and the static objects.

Moving vehicle and its stationary will show a damaged version when the game decides they are destroyed.

Static objects also have a damaged version included, however, the static objects do not actually have a
working damage model, the player uses either intact or destroyed versions in their missions.

To allow the static objects in the Thorneycroft pack to show in your game you will need to use the files uploaded at SAS by Andrew
(Greif11), they allow an object to be assembled with many meshes using a hier.him, this is a work around to avoid using just a single
mesh up to 3000 Polygon.

Link from Andrew (Greif11) for three class files to allow the use of a hier to assemble static objects:

Still to do:

Possible additional objects such as slings and chains for the crane and maybe a roof rack for the Thorneycroft.

If you already have an earlier version of this mod please completely remove the existing folder as there have been too many changes to note,
some parts are renamed and some removed to be replaced by new versions, there is now also the java for a moving vehicle.

It should not be necessary if you already have the mod installed but please check your existing text entries and update them/replace if needed.

Low polygon engine, link added 23rd December 2020:

Tested in 4.12.2 with SAS ModAct 5.30.

Please completely remove existing folder as there have been too many changes to note, some
parts are renamed and some removed to be replaced by new versions.

Open download copy/Paste folder 'ThorneycroftColes 18th October 2021' into your Mod or #SAS folder.

Add the download from Greif11 into Mod or #SAS folder before adding the necessary lines from the separate files:

_ADD_Chief
_ADD_Static
_ADD_Stationary
_ADD_Technics

Follow path IL-2 Sturmovik 1946/#SAS/STD/com/maddox/il2/objects/

The moving vehicles can be used alone without those files from Andrew if you do not wish to add the buildings folder and its
contents, only add the entries to the static.ini if using the buildings folder.

You can modify this as you like to create your own projects, this vehicle was the base for many different
vehicles that include troop carriers, articulated trailers for liquid and others to carry cargo, they have
also been used by many private individual collectors and drivers from traveling fair grounds in the UK.

Not for commercial use without permission but I have no problem with it being converted to other game formats, many have allowed use of their models
for us to convert to IL-2 standard so feel free to do likewise if needed.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete.  ;D

Great Job. Awesome detail.

Glad you like it MADMICK71, this has been quite a experience putting it all together, maybe a little less detail for the Bedford and Queen Mary
when I get around to them. ;)

Next up I will carry on with the articulated version that I have already started:

Take care and be safe.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D
