Avro 671 Rota I (Cierva C.30) HM580
« on: October 23, 2021, 12:34:31 PM »

Hello!
I am back again with another skin, but this is a skin for a plane I have never done before and it has no template.
This is the Avro 671 Rota I, which is also known as the Cierva C.30, found at IWM Duxford as a static aircraft.

UPDATED SKIN WITH NEW DETAIL

Hope you have fun with it!

Cheers,

Very cool!

I think that a lot of the mapping on the C.30 is very similar/same as the PZL P.11c, so a template for that could be modified to make C.30 skins, for future reference

Ok! I'll keep that in mind!  :) Also I can't seem to find any PZL.P.11c templates anywhere, only skins. Do you have any?

PZ 11 should have a void in the folder by default at least.

That and it's very possible to make use of some of the more blank bright skins around to use as overly or multiply to give the surfaces some texture and depth as well.

Hello guys, using the Stainless program can provide you with a map that shows what is used from the PZL. ;)

Downside with this is the map uses the heir so you can see there are various other parts shown, usually if
these parts are from other mods and do not have separate textures allocated to them they can show your
skin details, if they are the same colour it is not as big a problem, however, if not then you will see various
oddities when you test your new skin as those parts will show the differences in colour and also camouflage
demarcation:

You might have to re-map certain parts to other areas of your new texture.

Take care and be safe.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D
