Hello,
As an avid viewer of various air simulation sites, I was surprised to see the screenshots posted by "Ont_R" on M4T that seem to have been made on IL2 1946 and that show mods that I had never seen before. Does anyone know more?

That is a bit harsh IMHO...

To be fair to Ont_R he has been and still is ( as far as I know) an active member here who posts his work up for downloading when he thinks it is ready. From what I see, he never said that they are IL2 mods, Nor did he post them here, or anywhere else as a WIP. Quite a few guys create "screenshots" using a combination of 3d models and photoshop ... It is simply art  ...  that does not mean they even exist or are available for anyone to download them.

All I see here is simply  yet another in a long line of "I've seen this and I want it" posts. If you really need to know any more about them then just pm Ont_R. If they are available, in construction or anything else I am sure he will tell you .... if he ignores you then that is also an answer to your question.

Very well, Glynn. I'd be happy if all these see the light of day. I don't know Ont_R after all.
I also think all of these subject are as valuable as any other, there is no minimum numbers built threshold to me. Whatever floats someone's boat is valid for modding.

But I have seen such presentations often. Not make a substantial Wip, but post a teaser pic here, a video there... an then never to be heard of.  I'd be happy if this is a wrong suspicion though. It instantly reminds me of some teaser youtube content with flying "mod planes" of unknown origin. Some of these reach back a decade. but how long's two weeks after all

In the end, I maybe just didn't want to sugarcoat the fact that there's no further intel or download for the OP ...
