Hey Mate!

Love the idea of the Mod but I'm a bit hazy on the installation process. I went looking for the Mods folder in the #WAW (or DOF or TGA) folders and haven't found them.

Can you give me a steer please.

Thank you gentlemen. Now understanding how it's installed and what to expect when it's working properly I can see the difference. I have a big 3 monitor setup and it adds visual clues in the distance. The point on having certain types of object visible further out in the distance (big chimneys, maybe some big buildings) is moot but i can see there's a lot of work in it.

This community never ceases to amaze me. I have been flying Il2 since the first demo and it has grown so much. Hats off to Oleg and his original crew and to so many "Heroes after Agamemnon" in the community who keep on adding new things. I salute you one and all!

When the User see lots of effects (large explosion and hundereds of flaming buildings)  some effects are disappearing. Looks like there is a limitation. Are there any solution of the issue?

UPD

I've found info that it is an engine limitation.

I'm adjusting the values but still am not sure which value would allow for long distance tracer viewing

He he, I don't know either. It might turn out that there's no relationship; I've  not tried any testing.

Just tested in DOF with very good results!

No significan FPS variation

Airfields and other object visibile at a nice far distance

Combined with Graphic Extender give a very natural feelings of the horizont (was also more natural the feelings of the flight control...maybe a placebo , but I never fly my Oeffag so good!)

This mod involves World.class, which is a very fundamental base class. If there is any difference in this class between 4.12 and 4.10/DBW, it would require to work from the correct class code in adapting this.

I'm not set up with all of DBW's dumped classes, and so it might be impossible for me to undertake this.

If another modder is set up for working with DBW, this adaptation should be a pretty quick task.

Great stuff, seems to be working with VP modpack and 4.13 ModAct.

 It doesn't work in my case. I have 4.13.4 with SAS modact 6.4

After upgrade to 4.3 mod crashes on 30% the loading of missions, worked in 4.2. After (-) disabling of the mod all ok. Sorry...

I can't confirm this condition because I have installed it and haven't had any CTD....
