hi Gents

Need a view Inspiration or a Advise how could i am a Spinning Probeller from P39 into a Spinning vent for my Generator Container

 to make the propeller shadow in alpha channel smaller  i think i must cut a litle  evry 13 tga's maybe one pixel or two

Is there another solution ?







because i would like a animated vent in my generator  > it would be a nice eyecatcher
any advise would be helpful

If it's the 4-bladed fan you wish to show as rotating behind a grating...

You could give you main texture an alpha channel with cut-outs for the gaps in the grating.

Create, say, three textures of the fan only, in different rotational positions. These would be at rotations of 0, 30 and 60 degrees. Create a .txl for these three textures, listing them in such a manner as to suggest quick rotation. The order might be a basic 1, 2 and 3. Or perhaps 1, 3, 1 and two. Or others...

You model will have this fan texture placed a very short distance behind the grating on the main object. And be sure to place another flat texture immediately behind the fan object, so that you don't see completely through the building. This blocking texture could be pure black.
