Asura's DGen_mod v2.1.0.0 use for BAT?

Hello everyone,

For my DGen experts out there, would it be okay to use this latest version of DGen_mod without breaking the campaigns from the DGen patch for BAT?

You maybe should not ask this in BAT but wherever you get support for the Asura Dgen material.
With what little I know, the answer is most probably no.

Hello. DGEN mod is complete nonsense, raw, with a lot of errors and other things. BAT has always been the best, so I advise you to switch to bat and not do nonsense using DGEN.

Do you mean DGenPack perhaps, because I haven't noticed such problems with DGenMod?

I've only used DGenMod with campaigns designed for DGenMod, so I don't know how well it works on old DGen campaign, but it's easy to try.
I recommend that you add DGenMod through JSGME, then it's easy to remove afterwards if it doesn't work.

What are you trying to attempt or achieve by using a different dgen?

Are you talking about the dgen exe or actual dgen files.

I am using BAT 4.0 and I killed the installation by installing stock scripted campaigns so be very careful with what you do

I'm talking about the exe. It runs different than the patch, so I was wondering with the files that I have from the patch if I can use DGen_mod with those campaigns.

I wouldn't try it, I cant see any gain for the campaigns, the campaigns you have for BAT are from what I have seen, is all of them, and for an offline dedicated campaigner there is nothing worse than the dreaded dgen beep I give you nothing sound.

This can not be attained and never was the intention.
Dgen is an "semi-arcade" automated campaign generator.

If you want to go "full detail", you need to fire up FMB.

I only did the English translation for the manual for the latest versions, and I've done a few DGenMod campaigns during the last 6 years.

Regarding historical accuracy DGenMod is superior to DGen, if you use its new features when creating the campaigns.

Just for notice....I have PM WS_972 and asked about his project:

He reply me that actually have finisched the development of the aircraft files and is studying the historical squadrons to form those data...

He is also thinking to add the few planes missing to develop a similar campaign for japanese and eastern Africa too....
