A makeover for Djibouti Map / a Western Sahara map

Here a few screenshots for two maps that are coming along nicely so far with finding good textures. I have a good feeling about them.

One is for a smaller remake of the Djibouti map with just some 6 textures so far for mountainous areas, but looking promising ...



























The other map is a desolate and wasteland region of the Western Sahara ...

The Western Sahara map is virtually finished. The other one, the Djibouti remake, I just started a few days ago but it is coming along swimmingly, so that would be a few weeks from now ...

Not really. They are flyable but without all the necessary finished details like decent airfields and such.

It is ok don't want to disrupt your schedule just asking as I have an interest in the region and the pics are looking really nice

I wish I had a schedule ... ha ha.

I am normally in Spain for about half of the year and the last time, my main pc broke down after one of the many power outages that happen in rural areas. I had a spare laptop, but can't run Il-2 on it and certainly not make maps. I am back home now with my high-end machine, but it always takes a while to get back into map making.
