And in IL-2, if you really wanna appreciate what a 190 can do (in balance with it's opponents according to RL encounters) you'll have to try it in Ultrapack 3.4, cause only there you'll have a flight model in place that doesn't sacrificy everything for anything on the 190s.

Is there a reason that such an FM isn't in BAT? I don't have massive complaints regarding the current one in BAT (although I've not flown the 190s a lot in that modpack), but if the one in UP 3 is the best then why isn't it in BAT as well? Is it just general incompatibility, or is there a reliance on specific mods that BAT doesn't/can't have?

It's simply that we've decided to adjust the flight model parameters of the whole 190 family to real life figures in UP3 and this change has not been backported to BAT yet.
On possible reason for this would be that per default, stock plane flight models in BAT usually remain stock ones.
In UP3 we don't have such unwritten rule.

I have to say right now I can't comment yet, I think my install is messed up, and before I added 4.2.1 I forgot to activate everything in the JSGME, also I had not tested the 190 or other none U.S aircraft before all this happened.

But if all things work as before I tried to update I was having a lot of luck with the P-47M (more so with the P-47N, but I consider that post war) and the F4U-1C. 

Though the '47M had special super incendiary rounds for setting jets on fire, which is not modeled here.

What do you use to record?  I've always wanted to do recordings of flying but the 30 seconds with FRAPS seemed too limited, and its not really something I want to spend money on.

Also, what are you conf file settings?  I don't get that trailing smoke effect with mine, your detail seems higher too.  I thought I had pretty high settings.

Ha-ha-ha, I haven't missed the last two years. It's many more years! You know that I've always stayed true to 4.10 & #DBW and Tigers UV3.

Do you have to ridicule me here in all ~SAS public? 

It's good that a few months ago some friends here had me (Vampilot & You too) from B.A.T. convinced!

Man, since then I've been happy with my #BAT 4.2 Flash Point, 4096² HD skins and TrackIR!

Despite everything, I would always prefer my v4.10 & #DBW to a bare 4.12! Did the dildo team tinker with 4.12 back then?

My IL-2 now works better (loading speed, not to mention whistler's and benitomuso's mods) than I ever dreamed of.
