Any tips on using the AC-47 Spooky?

Hi

Since BAT also includes the well known spooky, I sometimes like to have some fun with it (and would love to see some more missions for it)

Now I'm having bit of a trouble in executing pylon turns
I know the basics but does anyone here have some good tips? I keep overflying my target and end up doing a pylon turn behind it when turning back for it, or my plane starts turning prematurely

Also those miniguns have a LOT of recoil and I can't seem to counter it well with rudders
