Hi
When a plane has all its bombs hooked to it like the Pe-8, or the modded B-17s or the He-177, the AI drops all of them at once
This results in the bombs clustering on a small area and it very often leads to failed bomb runs that would otherwise be successful if they dropped them in trains of single or pairs
See the pics below
Bridge bombing - I missed quite a lot but 2 of my wingmen could really devastate the bridge if they haven't dropped all their ordnance at once
Little port - we could have saturated it well and absolutely annihilate that little port if my wingmen also dropped their bombs one after the other (at least 2 of us)
Railway station - well we missed big time but the second flight could really pour some bombs on the rails as I ordered them to drop on my command
Like when a plane has let's say 16 bombs and there are 2 bombs in the bomb bay that spawn the others until they run out and those last 2 are finally released too. That give us great carpet bombings
Being a human and missing a lot (by not that much tho) can be mostly solved by carpet bombing instead of dumping them all out at once
So if possible, planes that have their full loadout modeled should drop bombs with 1/2 or 1/3 of a second delay between them
