Mitsubishi G3M Nell as a sub hunter '44-'45
« on: March 06, 2022, 04:41:08 PM »

Somewhat in the realm of a what-if. I always thought this plane could be used as a asw warfare plane against the US sub campaign off Japan and its sialnds. The Japanese had few dedicated ant-sub planes available such as the Lorna. Adding radar to this model and depth charges and bombs would give the Japanese a valuable sub hunter enhanced with the radars. We have this model in game, just a matter of changing or adding radar to a position and such. Just an idea.

Heres the one in-game. Not sure how feasible to add radar position in this model and maybe a mast.
