Dear Glenn.

Your new addition on revetment wood (defensive objects) is very impressive. You are a very creative and productive author.

Excellent work, as always with you.
Camouflage net on palm trees is beyond praise. Thanks for the extra wooden blocks for the hideouts.

P/S/ I noticed that most of the objects do not yet have a damage model. Is this not the final version yet?

Indeed, for the revetments and walls I didn't get around to making damaged versions. I do all my 3D modeling with a spreadsheet, and more complex forms such as partially collapsed walls would take a bit of effort. I wanted to get out at least a set of live objects before I died of old age.  😀

First of all. I wish you good health and long life. So that you please those present with your new works. I think most people on the forum will join my wishes.

Secondly. Instead of damage models, you can substitute its living clone in the MeshDead section.
And make the skin to it smoked. I will try to make an experiment.

I will not distract you from creativity. Sorry for my importunity

Mix,
I always encourage others to expand upon my works. No one needs my permission. ;)  Any improvements are welcome.

There are sooo many areas in which to make improvements that it's a daunting prospect for any one individual. Personally, I would be so happy to see a cessation of the addition of yet more planes for some time, and that all active modders turn to fixing the huge number of issues plaguing the many thousands of objects existing now.

I took on this revetment object project at the request of genxgamer, and mainly because I thought it to be an excellent object addition for myself, too.  ;)

I have usually a few projects cooking at any one time, and bounce around between them, occasionally getting 'distracted' by yet something else that grabs my attention or is brought before me.

Cheers!

Sorry this may sound rude, but I think you forgot to include the Dirt Blast Pen in your pack when you uploaded it.

Not rude at all. I don't take umbrage when my mistakes are pointed out.  😉

If not for this cursed power outage I'd fix that right away. Hopefully it wont take so long that when restored I'll have forgotten!  😀

But it's not the Dirt Blast Pen I made, which is like others I based it on and given a darker texture suitable for some Pacific maps such as Green Hell and the NGNB set.

It's taken me long enough to stumble again upon the outstanding issue concerning the new small blast pen variant I created, and to which I applied a darker earth texture, suitable for Pacific maps like the NGNB set (New Guinea New Britain) and Green Hell.

I included it in the massive object fix mod MIXX pointed to in one of his replies above, and available in this thread:

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,68674.0.html

I highly recommend to grab this big pack of fixed objects! MANY issues are addressed.

Here is the static.ini entry to add for this blast pen:

[buildings.House$BlastPen_Earth_Small]
Title           BlastPen_Earth_Small
MeshLive        3do/Buildings/Pacific/BlastPen_Earth_Small/live.sim
MeshDead        3do/Buildings/Pacific/BlastPen_Earth_Small/dead.sim
AlignToLand     0
Body            Flesh  //RockMiddle
Panzer          3.0

Hi WxTech

May I make a request for a double walled revetment 16 metres x 2 metres.
Can be 17 if that makes your job easier or if you want to keep with the odd number theme 15.
