Hi mates!

I have almost ready (to add in game) some new nations for WWI:

Luftstreitkrafte (all units and dirigibles)
Kaiserliche Marine Fliegerabteilung (all units and dirigibles)
Austo-Hungarian (all units)
Ottoman Empire (all units)
some other are also planned....

Initially I have made only the units files (country , regiments dat files , Reginfo and Regshort) and tested in the game with success with an eye only for single missions....

But as all the units can be better used in campaigns I have decided (when I resterted the works) to add them with the related files to have them usable for career....

I started with Luftstreitkrafte (Imperial German Army Air Service)  and build the AWARDS , RANKS , BACKGROUND and ICON .dat and .tga files....

BUT

When I add them in MISSION/CAMPAIGN folder I got only the name of the new service with all others fields (rank and campaign) unavailable....

I have noticed that in BAT some Campaign icons are different from the one I find in the related career.....for example:

The US icon in the game folder is the august 1943 style star....while in DOF it is the Stars&Stripes flag....

This make me think about some sfs files that load with precedence over the main root folders....

How can I access to those files or force the game to load mine (maybe with a specific path added into some DOF folders)?

Hi!

I have solved the issue....I reply to myself to give some more knowledge to others....

The nations files can be also be inside the MODS folder:
MAIN ROOT/MODS (or every name like #DOF)/YOUR FOLDER NAME/ and iside this the 3 folder for STD plus i18n plus MISSION....

This way you can alter not only the files inside the MAIN ROOT/MISSION folder but also the related files even if packed in sfs at the loading....
