Hello, I recently got IL-2, and I hope to play some campaigns - I got BAT as it seemed like the most complete, also including WW1 which is my favourite era.

I them got all the Community Packs of BAT Campaign, and tried some of them but they seemed to be unconnected individual missions. I then also followed the suggestion in the Community Pack post to follow the url text and download / merge the campaign file into with the BAT-adapted missions... I find they're still pretty flat. Although it tracks your cumulative total kills, that seems to be practically all it does before going to the next mission.

I tried DGen in WAW, and it gives some debriefing, telling you if it was successful, and who died, rather than print some stats, and skip directly to the next briefing.

Do I need DGen to have a real 'campaign' type feeling? I'm thinking of just something like the old Red Baron, or Dynamix Aces over Europe/Pacific, or 1942: The Pacific Air War campaigns ages ago

All the DGen campaigns built-in to BAT seem to be WAW-only.

Are there any DOF Dgen campaigns that I can add to BAT (I don't wish to start a whole new installation), and do you have any you'd recommend?

There are no DOF DGen campaigns, you would have to make them (with Asura's DGen_mod most likely)
