ok, at least people will help themselves here, il-2 is still a good simulator, but with increasing objects and new resources and mixing old and new things together, the FPS will drop quite a bit. today GPU 2 giga Radeon R M255 ddr 4 and 2 terabytes harddisc, I5 processor,, it is weak on IL-2 BAT .. I have to work hard for a new one

UPDATE 2.0

As per earlier suggestions from users I have uploaded a newer version.
The biggest one being the removal of those silly skyscrapers, and replaced them with era dated buildings. @Tomgeneral I don't think I added anything new, so hopefully it works with the objects you imported before.
I also restored the ponds people were missing, and even attempted to populate some of them with rice crops (using Kunai_grass). If this impacts performance too much let me know.

Ok, forgive my lack of awareness but I think I downloaded some QMB missions for this map.  I seem to have forgotten if that is true and/or where I got them from and I am having no luck searching. 
Would someone be kind enough to point me back in the right direction if I am not hallucinating, please?

Yes I did upload a QMBPro set before... I am redoing them however as the map edits pretty much broke them. I will upload them when I get them fixed...

Ok Yaro - here ya go with the latest update 2.1 -> https://www.mediafire.com/file/wtjigbr1n2fsx5o/Shanghai2.1.7z/file. This includes my QMBPro missions reworked slightly. I enjoy these as well, and hope to see other missions created by you guys, as I am not planning on making any more drastic changes.

Actors :  ..reworked taxi ways for the two airfields at Nanking.  +   map.h   local airfields levelling touches.
             ...Nanking south airfield actors rework final, plus the 89f test used; second update of the day, as a v3 cumulative using same link.

Fix: one lake shore correction :                                   in     map.T   see readme.
      "in river" land tile replaced by water:                     a small update of map.T only; was offered earlier as v2 and same link.

QMB        additions         tests missions.

Very good buzz_beurling. ]thumright[ Tested in B.A.T 4.2.2 fx 4. It's beautiful, ahh it would be good to make a movie on this map. Unfortunately I have too little time lately, professional work.

To Hubberranz "QMB add-ons test missions.". Does this apply to B.A.T 4.2.2 hotfix 4.

...I don't use bat. Missions made in 412.2 SAS 5.3.
   But if QMB pro or else can handle a 32 vs 32 planes quick mode and the map Shanghai has been installed successfully:
    may be   yes; try it. Everything is just basic game stuff, no fuzz. Should work if two pages of QMB are generated...
    Otherwise you will have 4 x leader Bf-109E-4 and 4 x lead A-20C's making a rather unscheduled appearance.
    Such defaults squadron leads should become resident evil in a 16 vs 16 planes game format.

    After checking in a Bat2.0 , I can see QBM pro accommodates both formats. There should be no problem. Just a second QMB page
    will be offered, exactly like the stock missions do it.

Nanking mod was updated, using same link.  Hopefully final.         #56 reply

Nanking is a major city in the North West corner of the Shanghai map.
South Nanking airfield: P-40s could not find the parking stays for lack of proper leading taxiways. Reworked.
Central Nanking airfield had only runways: I added the taxiways and stays.
These may change in the future as buzz_beurling continues developing his map and city.
I sincerely hope some of the changes will be useful in his work.  8)
I recommand to buzz for actors: copy-paste build's content of what you like rather then direct replacement
of your own actors in development; only two airfields to copy. Do protect your original work.

Map.h and map.T are probably much safer to directly replace.

Warning to map builders: ..slightest change to suggested pathways will result in absurd dysfunctionalities: AI is a bitch. It
likes to mess around a lot. Logic is out the door. Only trial and errors, suppression of culprits through testing, make it works in the end.
To aggravate things, each different aircraft add it's own personal mad behavior to the mix. Tested with P-40 only.
