Does anyone using BAT have a flyable mod of the A-36? I know there's long been one out there, but I never had it work on 4.12. Flying the Vengeance reminded me of the Apache, same dive brake set up and all.

Its already a part of the latest version of BAT, look in the American bomber section, look for - North American A-36 Apache.

It turned out I didn't have the A-36 because I missed the update that came out before Christmas, so I downloaded it and the patch, and installed. But, when started the game doesn't see the update, so I found it went to #WAW3, but the air.ini list being read is in #SAS. And now I have no idea why when the game starts it goes to the small BAT gunsight screen, then the 12.2 splash screen that shows two pilots looking at planes above and goes to black at 60%. What have I done now?

I recommend you to wipe clean IL-2 1946, then re-install everything while following the steps carefully.

Thanks, after some panic and confusion, I chose to dump the whole game, and start over. The GOG download has 4.10 and 4.13, so my question is: will it be better to up patch from 4.10 to 4.12, or bump it down from 4.13 to 4.12?
