I reported earlier, the generated trees and wood (jungles) on this map are of the same type. Trees are based on Slade (sl) and whs textures.
(As you can see: the triangular shape of the Christmas tree is still guessed)

Such trees are used both in Australia and in the Pacific Islands. Plus they are combined with new palm trees from WxTech.

You can replace the forest and trees with your own textures. However, it is not recommended to change the forest mask and the main color - green with a hint of blue.

I was asked once again to check and show the patency of vehicles, the routes of ships and parking spaces for aircraft in the Darwin area.
At different times.
Here is a screenshot ( Time 16 hours ):

Returning to Darwin. (Time 11 o'clock)
Airfield Parap Civil made close to reality for 1942.
Short, south runway (Red Arrow). There are only 7 parking places. Due to elevation changes, i have limited the number of parking spaces for correct operation. This runway is for airplanes with short takeoffs and landings. A-20 takes off and lands (with full armament + 100% fuel).

Airfields on this map (except Amahai) are located above sea level or rivers in Il-2.
Just like in reality.  it's not zero height. Be careful and prudent when landing your aircraft. At least minimally, but the terrain will be present everywhere. Only the territory of airfields is aligned horizontally! But again, i repeat, this is not a zero height.

Invisible Blank plates at airfields are laid only on runways!
This is reality. Be disciplined and careful. When taxiing, do not exceed the speed above 50 km / h, so as not to lose the landing gear.

WOW!

Looks great Mixx

I see you've included the taxiways at the Darwin airstrips, looks amazing from the air.

Did you ever get these?
P/S. Does anyone have updated objects for the Darwin map?

Glad you were happy with the Vengeance and Wirraway.

My Spitfire is ready for some action!

Hi genXgamer!
These objects are already installed on the map. I just repainted them a little: several hangars, houses, jetty:

Unfortunately, their 3D models are far from perfect.

P/S.  Objects from version 4.14 certainly win by a wide margin.
Very well done!

Basically a release....

Ambon-Darwin 1942 ( scale of 1:2)
Universal equipment for different versions of IL-2.

Map + textures (146 mb) and objects to it (206 mb) in the archive. Thank you Mediafire!

https://www.mediafire.com/file/hoj2rfq4ir5vmnh/MAP_Ambon_Darwin42.zip/file

Now let's try to install it on different versions. Instructions in the archive.

WARNING !  The archive contains only objects that work with this map!
For versions 4.09 - 4.12- 4.13 you need to add all the static objects from my package + adding an entry to static.ini.

(For BAT and UP. Most of the objects are already in these packages. Please carefully check the RailStations and NTL_Darwin_1942_43 sections in your static.ini. Take the missing objects in this archive.
If possible, check that the Molva_Hangar, Hangars, and Zap sections match. These objects are also present in BAT and UP. They are fixed by WxTech)

For versions 4.14 - 4.15, only NTL_Darwin_1942_43 objects need to be installed in your 3do folder along the path: ……/STD/3do/Buildings.
Copy the "Title Darwin Objects" section from the add_to_static.ini file to your static.ini

Credits:
Objects for version 4.14:  Molva, Sita, Pumping_Noise, Grejf11, yt2, carsmaster, Oknevas,TeamDaidalos.
Objects for Darwin map: Neil Lowe.
Textures: Vpmedia, SAS_Bombsaway, WxTech, Slade.
Historical materials:  https://www.ozatwar.com/  ,  https://pacificwrecks.com/ , genXgamer, farang65, leforban.

Cheers,

Thankyou Mixx

Just about to start my next project/campaign, but before I do I will create a historical mission so everyone can experience your map in all it's glory.

P.S.     There will be a campaign using this map at a later date.
