Just like to throw in an Asian hornet..
British Biplanes..IE..Hart, Hind, Audax..
I've put a new pilot and gunner in place -pilot1..pilot3, using some from from this section, but the standing gunner pilot2 can't be changed from the horrible stock bloke wearing what looks like a dirty suede suit.
And he's only half a suit too..legless with embassment I presume.
Is it a deep buried class  or is there a way round?

Hi

I just wondered if anyone has been able to get the pilots/ gunners working in the Hawker Hind/Hart/Osprey family of aircraft.

Thanks in advance Jolly Green

As it happens...I'm tinkering with that very thing.
Using some in the RAF uniform,  in the Hind and AUDAX radial.
I've got the gunner standing up when you enter the danger zone , and sitting back down afterwards.
However, there is a strange disembodied head between him and the pilot.
When he sits down he seems to merge with the head,  and then sits back properly.
Sounds very surreal I know.
Obviously I'm just  rubbish,  but I'm having a go anyway.
I can post what bits I've got, but alas, not until tomorrow, as my PC is having a nervous BD right now.
Of course if some of the "experten" have any bits on this...

Thank you for your reply Old_DaD, yes please if you could.
It totally amazes me what people are able to do here on Il2, From completely redesigning aircraft, to designing skins and the new affects that have been made.
Put a boiler and heating system in front of me I’m in my element  :) :)

Thanks again Jolly Green

I did this...but I can't seem to get rid of the floating head when the gunner stands up.
Would appreciate any help or advice on where the problem lays..if at all possible.
For the Harts and Hinds..excuse the pun.

Choose Pilot3_D0 as an all-in-one pilot without a head.

And then erase the Head3_D0 part from hier.him

If Pilot3_D0 had a head originally, you would get an error message that says...chunk head3 not....

However, it does not affect the game environment.

Unless it's a very special case, it's better not to have a head except for the main pilot. Otherwise, he sometimes leaves a head such as when he's bails out.

And when you upload a file, please use a zip file.

And there's one thing to be careful about...

Pilot3_D0 has no chance of KIA, so Pilot3_D1 will not be needed.

However, Pilot2_D1 must be Parent CF_D0.

Because...

In general, the turret continues to fire and turn even if the rear gunner is killed in action. And if Pilot2_D1 is placed as Parent Pilot2_D0, the KIA pilot's foot can stick out of the fuselage as it turns with the turret.

Always be aware of this on a two-seat plane.

Thank you.

I really hate these turrets that keep sniping at you even when operator is killed or the plane is going down in flame and/or crew bail out

Dear persons, Please try the above. It appears to work, for Harts and Hind lovers only.
