Yes, when the D1 pilot is lying on the left or right side or tilted, even the same model looks different enough.

With the gore effect applied, it looks even more different... :o :o :o

And if the front pilot's posture in the screenshot above feels unnatural, giving him a chair will solve some unnaturalness.

So I thought I'd better make available my CAC Wirraway for anyone wanting to upgrade to Ranwers's imported pilot and rear gunner.

Positions have altered since my original screenshot.

Pilot has been given a slight lean forward posture, while the rear gunner who I had leaning 10 deg. backward so his hand would marry up with the machine gun has been returned to his original upright position and the machine gun has been angled instead.

Alternate rear gunner damage skin has been included, backup original if used.

Thank you! The Wirraway at our Aviation Museum carried this livery for some time. Same squadron code as well...very nice Wirraway indeed! :)

... many THX for this, I know what you've been through to put them in the plane and edit their stance, not an easy task ...  ;)

Here is the Brewster Buffalo.
Technically this and the above Wirraway should be in the Desert Pilots section as that's the pilot used.
I however will be treating this section as RAAF PTO Aircraft.

Please note aircraft added by me are taken from B.A.T.
Suggested install path #WAW3\STD\3do\plane

Having the pilot's hand grabbing the stick is of little importance to me (sorry gunny0134), my priority is having the pilot correctly sized and positioned.
It is my belief (perhaps wrongly) that some part of the pilot's back should be in contact with the seats backrest.

Hi Guys

I have placed a new pilot and rear gunner in the Vultee Vengeance (B.A.T. version).
When the canopy opens the pilot raises like he's dropping a fart.
What do I need to edit to prevent this from happening?

... that's probably java code related, when the canopy is open, the seat is in the elevated position, to make take off or landing easier ...  ;)

yes several carrier planes have that code that calls the use of a third camera hook but normally you should be able to toggle the pilot position. I never saw that working in automatic
