It's easy peasy. The kamikaze plane usually hits the ship if it's not shot down before that. I usually add a bomb load.

You write David that it's easy to hit " on a collision flight", on such a large target as an aircraft carrier.
Yes, provided it's an AI and it makes a land attack every once in a while (in most cases the kamikaze passes the target many times and crashes somewhere far out to sea) or you personally fly at a height of a few meters above the water and the ship's artillery is not very precise.
Try from an altitude of 1,500 meters, or higher, in a diving flight at a speed of about 700 kilometers per hour to hit the target.
Well, let the target of the attack be an aircraft carrier, or maybe so a destroyer

I would strongly recommend you checkout DHumphrey's USMC campaign Medal of Honor.
It has been adapted for B.A.T. and was included in one of the updates thanks kindly to Vampire_pilot.
Fly multiple types of aircraft in different regions of the Pacific and like most of his campaigns it's not too difficult.

EDIT: Sorry not included in B.A.T. but available in Community Mission Pack volume 4.
I was checking out the Boomerangs loadout in VP Modpack and saw the campaign in there.

In an un published mission, or two, I've used A5s, and Ki4s as kamikazes against a destroyer, and a large landing craft. The one with trucks on it. they both hit the target. I think they came in at low altitude.

"English Wikipedia" states that "To save weight, a jettable undercarriage was to be used (there was no landing), so a simple welded steel tube undercarriage was fitted to the aircraft. rice field"
"Japanese Wikipedia" says, "The main landing gear shall be of a simple steel pipe structure that can be discarded and reused after takeoff."
I tried pressing the "G" key, but the landing gear did not drop.
I am Japanese. I regret that I designed and built such an airplane during the war.
