Congratulations on the successful deployment of the 3D pilot.

Now, please pay attention to the deployment of the basic equipment for the flight of the 3D pilot, such as a stick, panel, gunsite, and throttle etc.
  * However, It should be noted that there is a limit to the number of nodes in the hier.him of 1946.
It's filling the empty cockpit with those.
It's okay to be simple and not sophisticated.
Of course, some users may point out that it is a waste of the energy on a invisible areas.
But I think the plane's fuselage should suit it well in the 3D pilots.
So far, I've seen two users do this voluntarily.

I hope there will be more users doing this work in the future.

Thank you.

Sorry Gunny, I don't think I got it right.....

What I see in the picture is a P39 cockpit....is yours ?  Have you inserted it one by one, collimator, throttle with red button, collimator support bars? and if yes where did you get them from, or did you make them yourself from scratch ?

Gunny has most certainly taken flight controls from another aircraft and inserted them into the P-39.
Now thanks to loulou I have a working P-40E perhaps it could get a similar treatment.

Those collimator support bars seems suspiciously similar to the one from the H75A-3 cockpit

Yes, it's all true.
I don't have any graphic skills to make something with my hands... ::(
It's all from another plane, or a cockpit folder.
The reason for putting the support is that there is it in the cockpit view of the P-39.
the cockpit is decorated to look as similar as possible to the cockpit view.
But mine is only meager compared to those of two users mentioned above... ::( ::(

Oh, I can feel your hard working and pain.

Your 'left and right' are good... :-|

I'm willing to borrow your 'left and right' and use it with pleasure.

Thank you.

And in return, I will give you a connecting rod that compensates for the part where the steering handle and body are separated.

Please Try it (If you think you don't need it, throw it away).

One more thing...

If the plane you're working on is the one operated by Italian Air Force, I think it's better to have an Italian pilot on board.

But there probably isn't an Italian pilot who can hold the steering handle in both hands without eye-wearing goggles... :P ;D :D

PS: I think it would be good to put Italian pilot in (multi1).

Tanks Gunny (many armour........ ]smileinbox[

A bit of history .....

After 8 September 1943 ,and also especially  eight or nine mounth after , when the USAF taken
Italian Airforce bases on South Italy  , founds a situation awarness very badly , the flight pilots suit was Insubstantial, the personnel equipment of each pilot had been lost in the bombing of buildings. Therefore the USAF was forced not only to provide him with some of its airplanes but also the pilots' clothing (and to give them food to eat......). And that's it, so before you even fly the first mission as Coobeligerant AirForce.

The surviving airplanes of the Regia Aeronautica, few remained, were used until the spare parts were still available.

So the battered Italian flight clothing was definitively discarded

Only the formal uniform of daily service was retained.

But now my problem is importing into 3ds max and modifying the cockpit by converting the files to obj. then I tried converting from 3ds to mesh (MSH) and replacing the 3ds file with the same original name, but there is something that escapes me.... I would need someone to explain, step by step, the procedure to import and export (but without generic explanations, or refer to links of which you have to read hundreds of blog pages, I don't know if I explain myself)

Because at the end,  it would be a matter of a few simple steps, three or four at the most..... that all interested could learn, without having to learn the whole 3ds program

Regards  :)
