... well, normaly, when something belonging to the pilot/gunner stays in the cockpit after he bails out (head, goggles, helmet etc ...), it is code related (java code), and sorry but I don't know a damn thing about java coding ...  :-X
Anyway, I'll check if I have that bug tomorrow ...  ;)

Thank you.

And I'm using well the 'Msh_Viewer' that you mentioned a little bit.

This is especially useful when I want to know the name of plane's parts.

You talk like you're passing by, but I find a lot out of its inside... ;D ;D

Thank you again...!!

... yep, Mesh Viewer is very practical to check the result, when you edit the hier.him for ex ...  ;)

You dont need to launch the game and a mission in the QMB, to check the result, when for ex, you move a pilot/gunner forward or backwards, or pivot it 90° or up or down ...  8)

Thank you for checking it out.

It is probably the problem of the versions 1946.

Long live, 4.09... ;D ;D

My suggestion about Heinkel He-111H.

When master Ranwers's 3D pilots model is applied, the main pilot's feet of Heinkel He-111H look too empty... ::(

Therefore, I carefully suggest the making of a rudder msh file(it will have to be seen from the external view), and an appropriate position value that can cover the feet of the main pilot.

Of course, no one would have cared about this in the old days, but I think that since we have a nice 3D model, it should be shaped accordingly.

If it is made, it will probably be a very useful item as like the stick.

... well I managed to "borrow" the H-2 cockpit from Barnesy, and put it in the H-6 ...  ;)

The 3D is much better, now the cockpit instruments can only be seen by the pilot (no double sided instruments panel), who even has rudder pedals ...!  8)

BUT, the pilot sits a bit too far from the back of his seat, and his feet don't even touch the pedals (may be Ranwers pilots are too small ...  :D) ...  :-X

imafge

... just tell me if you want it ...  ;)

EDIT :

Well here it is for those who would like to give it a try ...  ;)

... here it is, I renamed the zip "new cockpit" so remove that from the name ...  ;)

I had to move the pilot forward, but I forgot to check if, for ex, the Mask was still on his face ...  :-[

Thank you, dear Mick...!!

Now, with pleasure, I'm going to begin to install your artwork on my He-111H... ;D ;D ;D

I think this file to be a good gift for many people.

Thank you again for your hard work...!!

In my case, the H-6 worked well without needing anything on 4.12.2m, BAT 4.0.

However, H-6 had the following problem (-Early, -Late works well) : see captured pictures.

So I see a need to fix it that it stays open like the stock version.

http://naver.me/x0hJs1Vo

PS: 1) 내려받기 = Download
      2) The He-111Hs shows active movement of the upper gunner about 180 degrees as the upper blister pushes back a little when the gunners are in the battle station.
However, H-2 and H-6 are held open with the upper blister, and the upper blister of them do not pushed back, restricted to the gunner's movement.
Both of stock, FM site version(H-2) have the same phenomenon.
Is it a bug? If there's anyone who knows why these are like this, I'd appreciate it if you could teach me.

H-6 stock version

H-6 Modded version (not open when prepare to battle)

... I more or less "fixed" this, by deactivating two mesh files in the hier.him :

//[Kolpak3_D0]
Mesh KolpakH6_3_D0
Parent Kolpak_D0
Attaching 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0.466 0.878

//[Kolpak2_D0]
Mesh KolpakH6_2_D0
Parent Kolpak3_D0
Attaching 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0

But of course now the gunner canopy is always open ...  :-X

Not perfect, but better than before I think ...  ;)
