Gentlemen

I didn't feel comfortable adding two class files with the same name, especially if both have java entries referring to "printcompassheading", so I changed the Barnesy head pilot movement to 554D28A0041EF420A behind the Compass Heading fix in the same folder.
The FW190A-6 loaded just fine in a quick mission but I'm still looking for head movement.  Not sure yet if either class file is having any effect, but I can certainly confirm that with only the Barnesy head movement class file 4.12 added the game freezes with an error message pointing to "printcompassheading", and with both class files together this doesn't happen, so I agree that Gunny's solution of placing these in two separate folders also has the same effect.

My FW-190A-6.

Wingman looks at the player(me) well.

ssn637, maybe Are you talking about the player's head movement?

Isn't it supposed to be motionless?

Can't we see the player's head movement only when we record it 'trk' using TrackIR?

OK, thanks Gunny, I'll take a look at my wingman to check.  Yes, I was referring to the player's head.

Cheers

I was wrong... ::(

Now I've checked, the wingmen's head moves well regardless of the presence of Barnesy's file.

So you're trying to regain the player's head movement you're referring to...

In the past, did you see the player's head movement to work well in the auto pilot state from external view ?

I've never seen a player's head movement despite having Barnesy's file.

I remember seeing the pilot move back and forth in his seat before takeoff but can't remember which aircraft I'd loaded and am looking for it.
But no, I've never seen him turn his head to one side and am not sure if he's supposed to be able to do that with Barnesy's mod.
The pictures Ranwers has shown in his first post clearly show heads turned, including a lovely young woman who I've never seen before, so I thought they were the player's pilots.
Not a big deal, of course, but it does add a nice touch!  Check your six!

I'm in a mess right now... ::(

Even without Barnesy's file, wingmen's heads work well.

Even with Barnesy's file, the player's head doesn't move.

Then, what effect does Barnesy's file have on me?

I'd appreciate it if someone could teach me that.

The other day, I had commented on a post that there was no change although I have a file of Barnesy, '! head movement 4.12'.

But no one answered to me.

Now I want to know the answer.

About Helga...!!

Helga never moves her head.

And Helga always looks tired because she has rabbit eyes.

Dear Mick...!!

It's all right... ;D

When I need a player's head movement, I record it 'Trk file' using the TrackIR.

Thank you always.

Cool video!

I don't have TrackIR so I've never seen a track recording like that one before!

Could you please do me a favor and check to see if the pilot head movement works with just the one class file you linked, the one that corrects the printcompassheading issue?  Or do you need both, along with the Barnesy pilot movement class file with the same name?

Thanks Gunny

I came to the conclusion that it was meaningless to put Barnesy's file in the mod folder.

Without it, the wingmen's head movement was good.

Having a Barnesy's file will be always a risk of files collision, as Old_Dad points out.

But without that file of FixPrintCompassHeadingCrash, 30% CTD in QMB of some planes occurs.

So the existence of the file (FixPrintCompassHeadingCrash) is essential to me.

Thank you.

PS : If possible, get a TrackIR... ;D
