I.Ae.30 Pallavicino I
« on: July 24, 2022, 06:14:47 PM »

Similar to the Meteor with some differences

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I.Ae._30_%C3%91anc%C3%BA
I.Ae.30 Pallavicino I
Jet modification of the IAe-30 Ñancú, also designed by Cesare Pallavicino, was to be a single-seat fighter plane in a class similar to the one of the Gloster Meteor. It featured the same fuselage as the normal IAe.30 Ñancú but its inline engine nacelles were replaced with jet engine nacelles each having a Rolls-Royce Derwent engine each producing 3.500 lb static thrust. Its cockpit was replaced with a lengthened one featuring a full metal nose instead of the glazed nose of the Ñancú. It was to have four 20 mm Hispano-Suiza autocannons "in" the nose instead of the 6 20 mm autocannons featured on the Ñancú which were located "beneath" the nose. None built.[2]

Even by the low standards already set here, this is a pretty poor attempt. If you want to be taken seriously you must try harder.

There are some more images here: https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/threads/argentinian-unbuilt-projects.211/page-5

They're mixed in with a bunch of other Argentinian projects, so you might need to do some digging, and you'll need an account on the site to get the best quality from the images.

... well then, don't be.. ;)

I don't mean to be rude, and this is not aimed specifically at you,  but perhaps a reality check required here :

A 5 minute wikki cut and paste (even when done correctly) does not compare the hundreds of hours work required to construct and import a new aircraft/ship/map/etc.  I know that ...  as I have done it on many occasions - if you are not aware of my track record then check it out. I never ever responded to a request that was posted here. Like all of the contributors who do this as a hobby, our free time is precious so we do only what we we want to do. If it matches a request posted here that is a pure co-incidence. Like them, I know how to research material and have access a wealth of resources both physical and digital already.

So yes ... endlessly requesting obscure aircraft.etc  which effectively bring nothing of value to the game costs you little... ignoring them costs us even less.  ;)

respectfully,

He's blunt, but don't let it get you down... I also used to have trouble getting decent threads with adequate images and info. Even things I post nowadays are probably still barely scraping by as far as adequacy. One of the biggest things that helps potential modders out is images, blueprints, etc, and oftentimes, they're out there, but are obscenely difficult to dig up. For my thread about the ANT-64 / Tu-64, I actually had to translate my searches into Russian to find reasonable info and some very nice images.

Rules have actually toned way down in this forum section, so thankfully, fun ideas aren't outright stifled the way they used to be.
