Airfield plates (MuddyGround)-SOLVED!
« on: July 25, 2022, 03:15:55 PM »

I've posted this request here as I can't start a new thread in 'MapWorx (Common)'.
As the title says, I'm looking for the MuddyGround airfield plates. So far, a search
has turned up empty, would anyone know where I could find them.

Thanks
Bw.

Would those for the NGNB airfield ground plates do the job? They're pretty dark, suggesting a certain muddiness.

I'm not sure about that. I had installed emmett_grogan's edit of FabianFreds
Thailand map in my VPpack and the map would load but not save.
Here's part of the error log:
Quote
com.maddox.il2.objects.buildings.Plate$MuddyGroundRunway.registerSpawner() failed.
I did a search here at SAS but without success. Then looked thru' all the map files
that I had and found that I had the static entries(Title MuddyGround ) but for some
reason didn't have the 3do folders for those plates. In retrospect, I guess I should
have PM'd emmet' and asked him.
IAC, Thanks for the response.

Edit:
Just PM'd emmet' about those plates, see what he says.

Well, if nothing turns up you could run the Selector in Dump mode, open one of the NGNB maps to get the various airfield plates, then make your own if none are already suitably 'muddy' looking.  ;)

There are NGNB_Pac_Gr and NGNB_Ground folders to check out. The former is a dark brown, and may do the job already in a pinch...

Problem Solved! Emmett_grogan sent me a copy of the 'muddyground' plates and his 'Thailand_edit' map will load and save in a VPpack install, but Thank You for your suggestion ]thumleft[

Cheers
