B-17 firefighting variant
« on: August 14, 2022, 03:53:22 PM »

I know we have the escort gunship variant and some other but wondered if firefighting is an abaility for this sim or something similar in effect. Also, saw a release for fsx of a firefighting b-17 in dfferent colors

Maybe for the future?

A working firebomber has been done at least once for this sim:

So it is possible to have B-17 firebombers if some one is willing to do the work.

A few of us made firebomber skins years ago (MaxtheHitman) made some B-17 firebomber skins at M4T

https://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads2&file=details&id=5924

I think Mace made a firebomber mod for the F7F

Other aircraft to consider: TBM, A-26, PB4Y-2, PBN, even the P-47 and B-29
