Hallo Gents,
i have difficulties on creating a mission.
I am not able to put the plane's take off position where i wuold like it be.
I have tried to use a stationary seaplane as spawn, but it does not work.

I have searched on SAS topics with no results.

Any help?

Have you tried taxi-to-takeoff as I'm sure you can place it anywhere on your airfield and then use waypoints to taxi to your takeoff position on the runway.
If you are talking about taking off other than a runway that's a different thing and one of the experts here can help you out.
If you are trying to takeoff from an ordinary farmer's field (i.e. not a proper runway) a quick cheat would be to use one of the invisible test runways (found under Stationary Ships).  They show up as red in FMB but are invisible in the actual game.  They can be affected by uneven terrain so your 'field' should be as flat as possible if you're going to use one of those runways.

In addition to what tomoose wrote, you can use a stationary plane as a spawn-point, but only a stationary plane from the original game. New stationary planes don't have this feature, but you can use an invisible stationary plane - spawn-point. Sometimes it may be good to have stationary planes at the airport that you can use as spawn-points as needed...
