Could one of our wonderful modders make such a modification for this somewhat forgotten aircraft.However, it was produced in large numbers and used for quite a long time in military aviation.-: "The quartet of Brownings in the turret were spaced wide enough so that when the turret was rotated forward and the barrels were lowered, the cockpit fit between them. This gave the possibility to shoot forward as well - but only diagonally upward (at a minimum angle of 16°), above the propeller target, since the aircraft was not equipped with a synchronizer. Besides, this would not have made much sense. The guns were located quite far to the rear, and synchronizing all four with the rotation of the propeller so that they could fire through its circle would have required a significant reduction in their rate of fire. The Defiant Mk.II version, with the more powerful Merlin XX engine, was specially adapted for night operations. It was equipped with the appropriate instrumentation and with the more improved AI Mk.VI radar apparatus.
 
        Such capabilities now Defiant does not have.

Anyhow I did not notice the minimum 16 degree limitation in BAT. Was not aware of this before.

 Maybe it is the fault of google translator. But this 16° is not so important. What I mean is that some modder, if it is possible and he feels like it, should make a modification in Defiant MkI: THE TOWER CAN SHOOT FORWARD (according to the direction of flight).
