One thing according the good job : would be fine to add wing tanks or not on Ouragan and SMB2, and to fly without !!  Is it possible to erase them in the mod ? Thanks

..not tested..        Here is how you can do it for the Ouragan, as an example.
 
1 - Find Tank(s)  (Left and Right) in the proper HIER file.  In this case use path:     plane / Ouragan(Multi1) / Hier.him
2- make a copy of the  -Hier.him  file to fly with or without.
3 - add the    hidden    lines in  one of the alternate copies:
