for 5 days the S2 Tracker A-851 of the Uruguayan Naval Aviation operated from the Argentine aircraft carrier "25 de Mayo" alongside Argentine Trackers. All part of the conjunt operations (UNITAS)
Training the Uruguayan crew was done in Argentina, after a formal petition to both the Brazilian and Argentine Navies gave the affirmative, it was decided that the training would be with the argies, since not only they were closer and there was a more extensive friendship.
from the 28th of september to the 2th of october the 851 was operating as if it was just another Argie Tracker. until the time came for it to return to its base in Uruguay.

It was the second occasion where the ship allowed another country to operate from its deck, and also the first time an Uruguayan aircraft operated from an aircraft carrier.
