We could use more ships in this game ....mini pack of three American cruisers,made by archie1971,packed by me.

To install these,put AmericanHeavyCruisers folder in your MODS.Then,read the text files to see what needs to be added to ships,chief,stationary.ini and technics_ru.properties files....they should be located in MODS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects and technics file should be in MODS\STD\i18n.Easiest way would be to search for USS Indianapolis within those files and add new lines after it.

If you don't have them,you can use these default 4.09 files and start with them

This is confusing! I have 4.10 installed i didnt have a MODS folder in the main folder of IL-2 1946 with ultrpack updated! So i made a folder called MODS .Could someone please show me the file structure of the folders in the MODS folder so i can get the ships and subs to work! ???

Hi mike27466.

I feel you have to prepare a new folder to install IL-2 1946 4.10m stock (without Ultr@Pack).
Don't install Ultr@Pack, don't use Ultr@Pack's Auto Update, use Daidalos's update patch.
And next, install "SAS Modact 2.5beta for 4.10" from this topic

Then you may use MODS folder.

yes, Ultrapack 2 will not work on a 4.10 install. to mod 4.10, you'll need to use the SAS modact, as western has mentioned.
i think you should do a bit of reading up on the various tutorials available, to get yourself up to speed before installing mods. there is a fair amount you need to understand first, but it's all available in the guides and tutorials in the forums. good luck.
